About
Located on roughly 300 acres of the ‘O‘oma ahupua‘a in North Kona, Hawaii, ‘O‘oma Beachside Village is a mixed-use residential community designed to provide kama‘aina with the opportunity to “live, work and play” within this new community. Nearly a third of the project site will be preserved as open space, including 18-acres for a publicly-accessible shoreline park with public parking.
The project will provide housing opportunities in a broad spectrum of affordability, and will feature two mixed-use villages:
- The Mauka Mixed-Use Village integrates “live-work” units intended for small business and residential use.
- The Makai Mixed-Use Village will feature a beach club, restaurants and retail spaces in close proximity to “live-work” units.
In its current form, ‘O‘oma Beachside Village is proposed to contain between 950-1200 total units comprised of:
| Single family residences: | 450-560 |
| Multi-family residences: | 160-200 |
| Mauka Mixed-Use Village units: | 320-400 |
| Makai Mixed-Use Village units: | 20-40 |
